About Knighton Lane Artists Group

The Knighton Lane Artists group are a cooperative providing affordable spaces for local artists in the Leicester.

Among our studio and associate membership we include painters, ceramicists, graphic designers, new media practitioners and sculptors among other disciplines. 

We hold open studio events and exhibit pieces in local spaces as often as we are able.

History

Knighton lane Artists was formed in 1982 by inspired professional artists

resident in Leicester with the help of an Arts Council studio conversion grant. 

The Studio at 68a Knighton Lane is rented from the Leicester City Council

and has been funded by it's member since the beginning.
